Thank you for your membership during the 2014-2015
year. Because you help us put the "network" in the National
Network for Early Language Learning, we want to say thank you by
entering everyone that renews their membership by the end of
September in a drawing for either a free NNELL membership for
2016-2017 or a free ticket to the 2015 NNELL Breakfast at ACTFL
in San Diego.
Here are a few highlights from the organization:
- Early language learning specialists offered
their knowledge through articles in Learning Languages, our
professional journal, which focused on, "Teaching for Global
Competence and Developing 21st Century Leaders through
Language Instruction" Vol. 20 Issue 2 (2015).
- NNELL's webinars inspired new strategies, watch
for more webinars to come this fall!
The launching of #earlylang on Twitter enabled the
conversation about early language learning to continue
virtually.
- NNELL continues to collaborate with other
national organizations such as ACTFL and JNCL-NCLIS to
advocate for early language learning and empower emerging
leaders.
- Past President, Rita Oleksak, hosted another
successful and well-attended NNELL Summer Institute in
Glastonbury,CT.
